Guild Polara Kim Thayil Signature Electric Guitar - Black

The Guild Polara Kim Thayil is a Signature Artist Series solidbody that pays tribute to the Soundgarden guitarist's favorite features from his 1978 Guild S-100. It has a double-cutaway offset mahogany body in Black gloss with gold hardware, a vintage-style Soft U mahogany neck with a large Guild '70s headstock, and a bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, 22 narrow-jumbo frets and a 24.75" scale. Two Guild HB-1 humbucking pickups with Alnico II magnets run through a 3-way selector, dual Volume and Tone controls and a vintage-spec phase switch for the bridge pickup. A Tune-o-matic bridge and compensated stopbar tailpiece plus Grover Original Rotomatic tuners provide stability, and the guitar carries a "Badmotorfinger" back cover and "King Animal" truss rod cover.
