Seymour Duncan SH-12 Screamin' Demon Humbucker Pickup - Black
Seymour DuncanThe Screamin' Demon was originally designed for metal guitarist George Lynch, but don't let this (or its name) fool you: the Screamin' Demon is not a high-powered flame-thrower. It's more like a souped-up PAF, equally at home in country, blues, and rock. It has the airiness of an old-school PAF, but with more growl and sizzle. It is big and open, with a percussive attack that stays articulate at any level of distortion. It uses slightly overwound coils, and a mix of standard-screw and hex-screw pole pieces. The Screamin' Demon was conceived as a bridge pickup, and sounds great paired with a 59 or Jazz model neck pickup. However, it's also a fantastic neck pickup in it's own right. Match it with a high-output humbucker in the bridge position for setup that really screams. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA.
